AAU basketball teams offer youth athletes a platform to participate in structured team practices and competitive tournament play, providing a challenging and rewarding environment for skill development.
Tournaments are primarily held in the Greater Seattle area, giving players frequent opportunities to compete against strong regional talent. Additionally, select tournaments may involve travel to other locations, offering athletes the chance to experience diverse competition, build camaraderie with teammates, and broaden their exposure to different playing styles and environments.
Launch Pad League is our in-house league designed for athletes in grades K–3 to develop their skills and gain game experience. It’s open to boys and girls of all skill levels.
The league consists of five sessions, meeting for one hour weekly for five weeks. Athletes will be placed on teams based on a combination of grade and skill level.
Each session includes a 30-minute practice followed by 30 minutes of game play. Session focus on building skills and basketball IQ.
Each athlete will receive a league t-shirt to wear as their uniform throughout the season.
Participate in scrimmage matchups to build skills, teamwork, and confidence all through real time game play feedback.
Northwest Rockets brings year-round basketball to youth athletes of all levels through our Developmental and AAU teams.
Participating in Northwest Rockets Basketball takes a financial and time commitment from both parents and players. Weekly practice times and pricing varies based on teams.
Practice locations vary across the Eastside – Renton, Newcastle, Bellevue, Mercer Island in Washington
